Furniture Ehrmann
Lotschstraße 9
76829 Landau
(Logistics)

Möbel Ehrmann is a family-run, regional company based in Landau in der Pfalz. Around 500 disposable pallets are produced here every month, which are then used to make tutto furniture. The company is managed in the second generation by Horst and Ingrid Ehrmann and their children Christina Ehrmann and Andreas Ehrmann, who is also a co-founder of tutto. Ehrmann Wohn- und Einrichtungs GmbH is responsible for logistics, sales and sustainability management and shares the dismantling of the pallets with the employees of Südpfalzwerkstatt. The tutto range is offered in its six furniture stores in south-west Germany.

Studio Clemens Lauer
Schützenstr. 37
76137 Karlsruhe
(Design)

The first prototype of the tutto stool was created in Clemens Lauer's workshop in Karlsruhe. Clemens lives and works as a designer here and in Marseille. In addition to his own projects - such as tutto - he designs for clients such as Kvadrat, Ganni and Mephisto. In his work, he focuses on alternative approaches to design objects, furniture and spaces. He is interested in how design can become more sustainable, more honest and more suitable for materials and spaces - often with unconventional solutions.

For him, tutto is therefore not only about the furniture design itself - about proportions, curves and manageability - but also about the design of the production process along the standard dimensions of the disposable pallets through to the collaboration with the workshops that manufacture the furniture. In addition to tutto and other furniture designs, Clemens works on the design of bars and restaurants in Marseille, Landau, Karlsruhe and Berlin.

Heinrich Kimmle Foundation
Rodalber Str. 152
66953 Pirmasens
(Production)

The tuttos are made in the workshops of the Heinrich Kimmle Foundation in Pirmasens - from the raw wood of the disposable pallets to the finished piece of furniture. After planing, levelling and joining (now everything is at right angles), the individual parts are precisely manufactured using CNC technology and special devices. They are then given their curves and details before being glued, sanded and oiled.

The Heinrich Kimmle Foundation is a regional disability aid organisation. It supports people with disabilities in the areas of work, housing and education to enable them to live as independently and autonomously as possible. With the help of their work, the tuttos are produced, packaged and finally sent back to Möbel Ehrmann.

(preparation)

The Südpfalzwerkstatt helps to prepare the disposable pallets for further processing. As part of Lebenshilfe Südliche Weinstraße, it has been a recognised and competent facility for inclusive workplaces for many years. With the support of these qualified specialists, the pallets are carefully dismantled at Möbel Ehrmann's logistics centre in Landau - ready for their onward journey to Pirmasens.

AQA Neunkirchen
Hermannstraße 152
66538 Neunkirchen
(preparation/decomposition)

At AQA Neunkirchen, the pallets are dismantled, straightened and joined - the first step on their way to a new life as tutto furniture. AQA (Arbeit - Qualifizierung - Ausbildung) is a non-profit and municipal employment organisation that supports people in their professional reintegration. Through targeted qualification measures and practical work experience, it enables people to re-enter the labour market and at the same time creates meaningful added value. With its commitment, AQA combines social responsibility with sustainable management - an approach that fits perfectly with tutto's philosophy.
